# How to create a bar chart

To add a new bar chart to your dashboard:

1. Go to **Dashboard** in the main menu.
2. Choose the dashboard you would like to add a widget to.
3. Click on the **+ Add widget** button.
4. Choose for *Bar chart*
5. Choose how you want to aggregate your sensors
   
     1. single value charts
     2. multiple sensor data points in one chart
     3. or combine different values
6. Choose a sensor or check you want to read in the widget and click **Next**
7. Adjust all options as you please, preview your widget on the right. If you’re happy, click on **+ Create**.
