How to filter on day/night data?

In 30MHz, you can filter your widgets so that they'll only display data from during the day or during the night. The definition of day/night is determined by the light hours of your timezone.

How to create a single-value widget/gauge with a day/night filter?

To create a widget that shows 1 value only with a day/night filter, make sure you have the period set to at least 24 hours. The option to filter on day/night data then appears under the Aggregation type.

By default it's set to Day & nighttime, so all data included. You can change this by clicking on the dropdown.

Once you've selected only Daytime or Nighttime, the data will update in the preview and a tag specifying your selection appears.

How to create a line/bar graph with a day/night filter?

For the line/bar graphs, creating a widget with a day/night filter is very similar. For the option to appear here, make sure that the period is at least 24 hours, and the interval is set to at least 1 day.

Again, a tag will specify what filter is applied to the widget.
