How to add a cultivation & strategy?

30MHz Cultivations helps you go beyond sensor readings and get clear insights based on your target values. 

Step 1. - Set up your cultivation

1. Menu cultivations
2. Add new cultivation
   
   Fill in:
   1. Name
   2. Period (start & end date)
   3. Zones. = optional but via zones you immediately combine your cultivation with the right sensors.*
      If you don’t have any zones set-up, select ‘Add new zone’ and add sensors to these zones. Read more here.
3. You have the option to fill in other fields as well, upload a picture or description anything you need to follow your cultivation 
4. Click save

*The benefit of adding a zone to the cultivation is when you create a widget and select the cultivation you only see the sensors that are available in that zone, so you don’t need to search in your entire list of sensors. 

Step 2. - Set up a strategy for the cultivation

1. Select the Cultivation
2. Select the Strategy tab and a target for which you want to add a strategy
3. Click ‘Add target’
4. Fill in the target table, scroll sideways to see all the weeks if needed

Step 3. - Track your strategy in dashboards

1. Go to Dashboard create a new one or choose an existing one. 
2. Add a widget
3. Pick line chart
4. Show a data source, since we want to show a temperature sensor and our target
5. Select the cultivation
6. Pick the data source (if we selected zones for this cultivations only the sensors that are within this zone will show up)
7. You see the graph will automatically set to the cultivation period. 
8. Select ‘Add target’ to show the strategy lines
9. Give your widget a title
10. Click create

Now you have a dashboard in which you can easily see how the climate is doing for this cultivation. With cultivations you can also compare cultivations, compartments or periods. Soon more about cultivation comparison.
