I am logged in but I can't create a new widget

I am logged in and trying to create widgets to view my data. But I am not able to create a new widget.

  If you are logged in into the platform but don't see the option for creating a new widget in a dashboard you possibly do not have permission to do so due to the role that is assigned to you.

  In the platform there are three roles: owners, editors and followers. Depending on the role, several features (permissions) are available. Both editors and followers can create new widgets and dashboards. Ask the owner of the dashboard if your role can be adjusted to be able to create a new widget.
