      Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)

      This article advises on a solution in case the grid power at the site is unstable.

      When you have unstable grid power at the location where the 30MHz gateway is installed, we advise you to power the 30MHz Gateway with a UPS. A UPS can also provide surge protection in case of a lighting strike.

      Known working UPS with 30MHz Gateway

      We advise you to use the APC BE425M UPS, which is widely available in most countries.

      It will give the gateway 2 1/2 hours extra on time after the grid power goes down.

      When more time is needed, look for a UPS with bigger battery capacity.
